- Amendments to the Baugesetzbuch on the planning of wind energy installations in 2022 and on the Bau-Turbo (a fast-track building-permit provision) in 2025
- Introduction of the Wärmeplanungsgesetz in 2024

- Leading the establishment of a coronavirus wastewater monitoring program run by the BMU and BMG together with the wastewater sector and the Robert-Koch-Institut in 2021
- Conception of the National Flood Protection Program run by the BMU and BMF and the federal states in 2014
- Technical direction of the highway road-safety campaign „Runter vom Gas" („Ease off the gas", the federal road-safety campaign) together with the agency Scholz & Friends from 2008 to 2009
- Leading the SAP roll-out across 70 authorities within the BMWSB's remit from 2002 to 2006
- Leading the steering group for integrating the OFD Berlin into the BBSR in 2002
- Collaboration in the steering group for merging the BMV and BMBau into the BMWSB in 1998
Mediation, stakeholder dialogues and strategic project advisory
- Organizing the stakeholder dialogues on the Bau-Turbo from 2025 to 2026, on municipal heat planning from 2024 to 2025 and on the National Water Strategy from 2016 to 2021
- Steering the European infringement procedure between the EU Commission, the BMU, the BML, the federal states, agricultural associations and water-sector associations over the violation of the Nitrates Directive from 2014 to 2022
- Mediation of the Diclofenac round table between pharmaceutical associations, environmental associations and the water sector from 2021 to 2022
- Mediation between the agency management and the staff council (Personalrat) on the establishment of the Federal Aviation Office from 2011 to 2013
